Estrella Negra

Entering the space to the right you’ll find one of the best restaurants in San Pedro de Atacama. It is not only amazing, it is also vegan and you’re served with an amazing amount of care and friendliness. We had the vegan lasagna and it was incredible!

Made it here for a lunch that hit the spot. Read the menu outside but once you enter inside, two restaurants share the same space. Estrella Negra is the colourful smaller seating area on the right. Had the Liken Bowl and the Eggplant Sandwhich that happened to both be great.

Had vegans sandwiches (which came with chips) and ordered bottled water. Sandwiches were super tasty and filling. They have a great selection for breakfast (including pancakes) and Lunch (including bowls, sandwiches, vegan ceviche, empanadas etc). Would definitely recommend this place! Staff are good too. They also have a selection of desserts but we were too full to try any. If you’re vegan and in San Pedro, this is the place to come. It’s affordable too.

I really enjoyed this gem for vegans in San Pedro. I went there twice, and loved their veggie bowls, which are both healthy and filling. The mix of cold and warm ingredients made the meal so much more interesting.

Cosy fully vegan restaurant. Had the vegan sausage empanadas (it's massive), tofu bowl, beetroot juice and snickers bar. All were amazing. Great place to meet fellow vegan travellers.

Great vegan options for the hungry traveler. We found this little place by accident but came back for more on another night. Food is lovingly prepared with great flavors and lovely service.

Everything was so tasty and well presented here! I was really happy to find vegetarian options in San Pedro. The restaurant is small, but very comfortable with about six tables. They also share the space with another restaurant so if you have a meat lover in the group, you can accommodate both styles. I enjoyed the lentil burger, and my dining companion had the chickpea burger. Both came with really yummy potatoes in different styles. The lemonade is really great – – give it a try! The service was friendly and helpful. They have menus in both Spanish and English. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and all of the food is very fresh. Thanks for a great dinner!

Loved Estrella Negra! We went for dinner twice and lunch once. Tried empanadas, ceviche, tofu sandwich, and two principal lates: seitan estrella and chorrillana vegana. Delicious juices. Very tasty. Kind staff. Clean. Highly recommend
